Say the Time is a speaking clock for your computer that helps you not to miss any important appointments. The program has nice male and female voices. It can be configured to automatically speak out the current time, date, or both, at certain intervals. Additionally, it will speak out the current time whenever you click on the clock.

Voice reminders can be set to use your computer's default voice with Microsoft text-to-speech technology. The program's floating vista-style notes will help you not to forget your important events. Moreover, it contains a stopwatch and a countdown clock which has several uses. A built-in calendar has the ability to tell the Moon status, and also the days passed and the days to come in the current year. The world time clock enables you to know the current or future time in any specific city worldwide. It also shows the current day and night areas of the world.

It replaces the original tray clock with one that you can fully configure; you can add the day name, date, and time in any preferred format. In addition, you will be able to change the clock's font, background, and text size.

ive used STT in 3 different versions over many years. When my old PC finally croaked about 4 years ago, the new one came with Win 10 installed. When reinstalling everything STT 9 wouldnt run. OK not an issue. D/L and installed V11. sorted. FF forward a bit, then, earlier this year (2024) something in Win 10 changed. I noticed one day that my STT wasnt announcing. on investigating the prog loads on first start up, but is unresponsive. it does and says nothing, does not respond to mouse clicks, left or right, shows the correct date time in the taskbar yes, but nothing else. As i sleep rather then turn off my PC, I know that when i wake it next time the STT clock will be gone and the standard taskbar clock will be back.

Theres no help from Microsoft, all they have done is suggest installing in compatibility mode, even after being told several times it doent make any difference., relying as usual, on developers figuring a fix for what MS broke. Provenio, the software developers have gone dark and are not responding to any requests for support or emails.

Its a real shame as this is good software thats been broken by MS. My Lappy, which is running on W7 is unaffected. As a result, anyone thinking of buying this software needs to think twice, that A) it might not work, and B) no one seems to give a if it doesn't.

Phil.
Tron, absolutely no idea. It was tweaked and reissued as V11 to run under win 10 but after a couple of years something probably a Win update killed it. Provenio not replying and website gone offline. Its a free download, still oddly widely available, try it is best i can suggest. My V9 still running fine under win 7.

TBH I've given up on it. It's a shame because I liked its features and functions.

7/28/23, I woke up this morning after using Say the Time for years to find out that it had stopped working. I have written
Provenio Software Corporation seems although the company is out of business.

I've used Say the Time for a long, long time without incident. I just upgraded to Windows 10 anniversary edition, and it no longer works. It's still there, it still talks, but it's only partially visible. It will remain uninstalled until some kind of fix comes out, or someone can provide me with an answer. So far, the company has been unresponsive.
